About

I believe that people can change. I believe this because I have seen it: I have seen this change in my clients, in the people who taught me, and in the people I teach, and perhaps most importantly I have seen it in myself.

No matter how far you fall, how broken you are, how lost, frustrated and anguished - you can improve. The change you might need may not be easy, it may not come quickly, but with patience, practice, perseverance, insight, a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with and someone who is skilled at helping you cope, learn, grow strive and thrive - it can happen.

For over a decade I have been working in the field of complimentary health, focusing on mental health and wellbeing and the mind-body connection. Originally I focussed on bodywork as a means of creating change in a person’s inner life. For many years now, I have worked as a Somatic (body inclusive) Psychotherapist as a potent way of integrating different therapeutic pathways- for different outcomes.

In my own, and my client’s therapeutic journey, I am constantly amazed at the role of the mind in creating and sustaining wellbeing. People thrive when they find meaning, value, direction, purpose and the commensurate emotion for all aspects of their lives including their illness and injuries. Again and again anecdotal evidence has shown that when people’s minds are clear, focused, grounded, and connected to their bodies (embodied), the tendency towards physical and psychological health is increased.
