Meditation, Body Awareness and Bodywork

For several years Julian has been teaching meditation and body awareness for mental health and personal growth. This offers people more than just a technique to calm themselves, it creates a doorway to previously unreachable levels of emotional resilience, clarity of thought and balance in perspective. Together therapy, body awareness and mindfulness can bring about deep and permanent change.

Bodywork can be focused on the facilitation of psychological change. ‘Somatics’ is an umbrella term that refers to practices that utilise the relationship between the mind and the body, and the understanding that you can change one through the other.

Minds generally function best when someone is grounded, centred, balanced, open, receptive and expressive. All of these traits rest upon the delicate balance between mind and body.
